Everyone loves Princess Diana and this should come as no surprise. The late British royalty gave us so much to love: her personality, her kind heart, her liberal mind and most especially, her style.
It’s been 20 years since we’ve had to bid the original slay queen goodnight but we have these precious fashion moments that will remain forever iconic.
1. That little black dress

Lady D was no stranger to taking risks. She managed to brilliantly juggle being elegant with being risqué and that is truly her fashion legacy.
When she wore this dress to the Serpentine Summer Party in 1994, off shoulder dresses were far from being in vogue but Diana rocked it, proving to us all that she defines avant-garde.
2. What a man can wear, Diana can slay harder
Only Princess Diana can make an oversized suit chic! She gave everyone fashion goals when she wore this outfit to visit her brother’s newborn son at St. Mary’s Hospital in Paddington.
3. Denim on denim
Diana’s fashion was iconic because she did not only wear couture. The princess looked as flawless on designer as she did in everyday clothes.
When she left Arlberg Hotel in Austria with Prince William rocking denim on denim and white sneakers, she made us fall even more in love with her, as if that was possible.
4. The jewel of the ’80s
When Diana stepped into the venue for the premiere of Biggles in London, she became the cynosure of all eyes. She came, she slayed, she conquered.
5. The wedding dress of the decade
Without a doubt the princess’ most iconic look, this David Emanuel designed dress had everyone in awe then and we are still in awe now. Complete with ivory silk and a 25-foot train, Diana captured the essence of royal fashion.
