On Sunday, December 11, 2011, Nigerian gospel act Nikki Laoye tied the knot with her lover-boy Alex Oturu at the Grandeur Event Centre, located at Oregun, Ikeja, Lagos.
The wedding, yesterday, follows the quiet introduction the couple did back in September and a subsequent court wedding on Wednesday, December 7, 2011 at the Ikoyi Registry.
The ceremony was attended by a few popular faces from the entertainment industry including recently married Soul Snatcha of The RoofTop MCs, Adebambo Adewopo, Tunde Laoye, Ayo Animashaun, OC Ukeje (who was on the groom’s train), Annette Cookey, Ayeni Adekunle, Yaw, Obiwon, Essence, Sammie Okposo, KSB and MC Abbey amongst many others.
The couple met back in 2004 but got the relationship kicking proper in January 2011. In June, Oturu popped the big question and the rest is history…
