The Nigeria Football Federation has unveiled Sunday Oliseh as new coach of the Super Eagles.
At the public presentation in Abuja today, Wednesday, July 15, 2015, NFF President, Amaju Pinnick expressed optimism that Oliseh will succeed in his role while referring to the former Super Eagles captain as the Pep Guardiola of Africa.
On his part, Oliseh expressed his readiness to serve, saying: ‘I have come to serve and the NFF has promised to give me all the support I need to succeed. They are the employers and I am the employee. That distinction has to be appreciated at all times,’ Oliseh said.
Sunday Oliseh has been mentioned as the next coach after the sacking of Stephen Keshi by the NFF after the latter was discovered to have applied for the vacant post of Ivory Coast coach.
