The French international who still plays for Chelsea earned £80, 000 per week without kicking a football for the London giants.
Malouda played his last game for Chelsea during the UEFA Champions League Final in 2012 against Bayern Munich.
During the pre-season Florent Malouda clashed with then Chelsea coach Roberto Di Matteo. When he refused to apologize he was banished from training with the first team and ordered to train with the Development Squad in another section of Chelsea’s training ground.
The silly part is that Malouda was still paid his full wages despite only training. The French winger was supposed to move to another club in Mexico but pulled out the last minute. He decided to use up his contract with the Blues. His contract ends this June 30. What a lucky chap!
