Haitian actor, Jimmy Jean-Louis who played Dr Tunde Jonathan in the 2005 Hollywood production, Phat Girlz will be staring alongside two time Grammy Award winner, Angelique Kidjo, Wale Ojo, Fatym Layache, Nico Ranagio, Kemi Lala Akindoju and veteran Nollywood actress, Hilda Dokunbo.
The movie is written by Tunde Babalola, who wrote ‘October 1’, ‘The Meeting’ and ‘Critical Assignment’. Kunle is expected to commence shooting immediately as Angelique Kidjo has arrived Nigeria ahead of the production. The movie will also be shot in Abidjan, Kenya, Morocco and Paris, France.
The movie is being produced by Kunle Afolayan’s Golden Effect Pictures in conjunction with Air France who recently named him an ambassador. Afolayan’s other movies are Irapada, Figurine, Phone Swap and October 1.
