Dancehall singer Konshens could be taking a long walk from music after being diagnosed with chronic laryngitis.
The ‘Jamaican dance’ singer who has been having issues with his vocal tract was reportedly forced to see a specialist in Vienna, Austria where he was diagnosed with the infection and told to abstain from music for two weeks.
Laryngitis occurs when your voice box (larynx) and vocal cords become swollen and irritated.
Konshens apparently continued performing and had to be flown to a hospital in Germany after his force ‘vanished’. If he pushes it, he risks permanent effects on his voice and even hearing.
He has now cancelled his tour.
