Tom Cruise has admitted he feared for his life when he had to hang off a flying plane eight times while shooting a scene for ‘Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation.’
Asked about the experience, the star said: ‘I was actually scared s**tless. As always, I will do everything I can to entertain an audience and put as many people into your theatre…I’m an aerobatic pilot and I’ve always wanted to do that.
‘I was in a harness, on my side that was kind of loose so you can see the vibration of my body against the plane.’
Tom, who also got behind the wheel to film several car chases in Morocco for the action movie, claims he almost got injured when the plane landed, despite the crew making every effort to clear the runway of birds and debris.
He told the crowd at CinemaCon in Las Vegas: ‘I got hit by just a little particle. I literally thought it broke my ribs.’
