Nollywood actress and AMAA nominee, Kemi Lala Akindoju has revealed that she owes veteran movie filmmaker, Tunde Kelani a lot of gratitude for having confidence in her by giving her her first lead role in a full length movie.
The Insurance graduate of University of Lagos made this revelation at the free screening of the Kelani’s Dazzling Mirage at the Silverbird Cinemas, Lagos.
‘Dazzling Mirage is my first lead role in a movie and I think I owe Tunde Kelani a lot for taking a big risk using me as against more popular faces. TK took a big risk and today, he has made me a a star’ Lala disclosed while making a remark after the screening on Thursday.
Kemi is nominated for Best Young/Promising actor at the 2015 Africa Movie Academy Award.
