Jennifer Lopez is still ‘great friends’ with Casper Smart.
The ‘Booty‘ hitmaker, who split from the choreographer earlier this year after two-and-a-half years together, was spotted having dinner with him at La Conversation in West Hollywood, Los Angeles on Monday, October 6, 2014.
But a source close to the 45-year-old beauty told E! News their reunion was strictly platonic and they arrived at the eatery separately.
The insider added: ‘They remain great friends.’
The ‘On the floor’ hit maker, who has six-year-old twins Max and Emme with ex-husband Marc Anthony, announced her split from 27-year old Casper in June.
She has since been linked to former ‘Dancing with the Stars’ performer, 34-year old Maksim Chmerkovskiy but recently insisted she is still single.
Asked if she is ready to be in a relationship again, she said: ‘I’m just being on my own. I feel like I need that right now.
‘I’ve been in relationships kind of back to back my whole life and I just needed time.’
She added: ‘I need time to just chill and just know me and enjoy my kids and actually make time for other friends instead of just the relationship thing.’
