Yesterday, November 3 was Toke Makinwa’s 32nd birthday.
And if you ever thought the TV girl was done with men after her recent marriage woes, then you should think again.
This morning, Toke shared a birthday video on her Instagram with the caption: ‘Had the best birthday ever!!!!!! My beloved threw me a surprise dinner.’
Written on her birthday cake is ‘The best is yet to come, happy birthday love.’
Now we think Toke Makinwa has found love AGAIN, a year after ending her romance with ex-lover, Maje Ayida.
Her 2014 marriage to the fitness coach hit the rocks in June 2015, after he impregnated his ex-lover, Anita Solomon, who eventually gave birth to a baby boy in July 2015 in UK.
Consequently, Toke filed for a divorce on March 9, 2016 through her lawyers, seeking an official dissolution of the marriage, citing adultery, cruelty and irreconcilable differences as her reasons.
In October 2016, she took to her Instagram page to send a message to her ‘future husband’, using the photo of the United States president, Barack Obama and his wife, Michelle.
Her caption read, ‘FLOTUS X POTUS #Yunmy #Goals .
Dear future Husband,
I am working hard on me. Building an empire, growing spiritually and emotionally, pushing thru the odds and striving to be the best partner you’ve ever dreamed of. I will go to war with you, (by your side of course). I will support and pray you to success. Abegggggii please come correct #partnerincrime #partnership #power.’
While it seems Toke has found love again, a fan had a message to share with her.
Instagram user @xtralarger commented, ‘Happy birthday @tokemakinwa I’m happy for you , kindly keep this new relationship, hope you don’t destroy this new found love, believing your independent and your a feminist. let the this love grow don’t push this second man away to go around impregnating other women create time and learn to respect him as man stop seeing your self as boss lady no man wanna be the second in a relationship make him the king that’s first he will make you the Queen that’s second ….. be real and don’t take everything your spiritual father said (Pastor) sometime their motivations quotes are not used in a relationship .
