Sierra Leonian born musician and actor Anis Halloway has just released his second studio album titled Next Step.
Anis Halloway, who made his entrance in the African music scene as the only contestant from Freetown on the second edition of MTN Project Fame West Africa, has over time evolved into an actor, voice-over artiste, scriptwriter and film-maker.
His first album Small Beginnings was released seven years ago. Asked why the long gap between that and his new album, he said, ‘No matter how much I do in media /TV, music has and will always be my life-blood; it’s a passion and I’m blessed to be able to express this creativity once again in this Record. ‘Next Step’ embodies that growth characteristic of seven years life experience, hence I’m very proud of it.’

The lead song off the album, ‘Dance Too Sweet’ features two of Sierra Leone’s finest, Silvastone and Dallas Bantan.
Anis was the Technical Director and Sound Designer on the set of Hustle; the new sitcom by MNET.
