Chris Martin never responded to Gwyneth Paltrow ‘s divorce petition.
According the TMZ who have obtained the legal documents, the Coldplay frontman has failed to respond to Gwyneth’s separation papers.
It is known her petition asks for joint custody of their two children, daughter Apple, and nine-year-old son Moses.
Gwyneth filed for divorce in April 2015, and Chris was served with the legal documents in May 2015, with the case remaining dormant since then.
However, business managers for Gwyneth and Chris have been privately hashing out a settlement, focusing on their extensive financial assets.
The former couple have maintained an amicable relationship since their ‘conscious uncoupling’ in 2015.
The ‘Fix You’ singer previously insisted he didn’t want there to be any animosity between him and the actress as he didn’t want their split to negatively impact their kids.
He said: ‘If you have kids and they start reading about their parents not liking each other, that’s not good.
‘We just spent a long time trying to maintain a friendship so there wouldn’t have to be any kind of battle.’
