The Jose Mourinho-led team last night defeated FC Porto 2-0 at Stamford Bridge to qualify for the round of 16.
A 12th minute own goal by Spanish defender Ivan Marcano and Willian’s 52nd strike was all the EPL giants needed to cruise into the UCL round of 16. Diego Costa also strived to get a goal but was unrewarded for all his hustles.
With Chelsea topping Group G with 13 points, Porto, who finished in the 3rd position will now be joining the likes of Manchester United at the Europa League.
