It’s Hard To Be Humble When You are As Great As i Am. I’m not the Greatest, I’m the Double Greatest. Not only do i knock’em out, i pick the Round. Float like a butterfly sting like a bee Your hands can’t hit what your eyes can’t see. It’s Just a Job. Grass grows, Birds fly, waves pound the Sand, i beat people up. Live everyday like its your last, cos someday you are going to be right. I’ve wrestled with Alligators, I’ve tussled with a whale, handcuffed lightning, thrown thunder in Jail. Only last week i murdered a rock, injured a stone, hospitalized a brick. I’m so mean i make medicine sick. I’m young, I’m handsome, I’m fast, I’m pretty and can’t possibly be beaten. I’m so fast that last night, i turned off the light switch and was in bed before the room was dark. Boxing is a lot of white men watching two black men beating each other up. I hated every minute of training, but i said, Don’t quit. Suffer now and live the rest of your life as a Champion. There are no pleasures in a fight but some of my fights have been a pleasure to win. At home I’m a nice guy. But i don’t want the world to know. Humble people, I’ve found, don’t get very far. If you even dream of beating me, you better wake up and apologize. My way of joking is to tell the truth. That’s the funniest joke in the world. CHAMPIONS aren’t made in the gyms. Champions are made from something they have deep inside them. A desire, A dream. A vision. They have to have last minute stamina, they have to be a little faster, they have to have the skill and the will. BUT THE WILL MUST BE STRONGER THAN THE SKILL. The World is saying you are dead Ali. Hahahhahahah…. How can you die? Silly world. U Live FOREVER. #LEADERSHIP.

I was in the air last night flying from Atlanta to London when I got the text from a close friend that within’ a few hours we were going to lose Muhammad. Like me, Ali inspired so many generations around the world to be hungry to achieve, work as hard as you possibly can, to be a great as you possibly can be and make sure that not a day goes by where you don’t do your absolute best to make the world smile and feel good. Feel inspired. And feel that no matter how hard times may be, there’s always hope for tomorrow. From hanging out with you in New Zealand as this little punk kid, to years later as a WWE rookie when you whispered to me “Can you rumble?” to a few years later when you bestowed upon me “The People’s Champ” moniker. I will always be grateful for the impact you’ve had on me. Thank you and I’ll miss you. Much love and strength to the Ali family. Rest in love and light Champ. You’ll always be the Greatest of All Time. And pretty.

My grandfather rest in peace once told me a story about Ali…… He said back in the 60’s pretty much everyone was a Christian by faith….. There was a whole generation of black people who specifically knew nothing about Muslims or Islam until Ali’s controversy that happened on April 28, 1967, boxing champion Muhammad Ali refuses to be inducted into the U.S. Army and is immediately stripped of his heavyweight title. Ali, a Muslim, cited religious reasons for his decision to forgo military service. He said Islam is peace and he could find it in his heart to honor war to kill people and from that very moment if you didn’t know about Islam and what it stood for you knew then….. May his heart and soul rest in peace…. Please around the world please hold his family up in your sincere prayers….
