One of the high-points of the AFRIMMA 2015 was the celebration of  Senegalese singer and percussionist turned politician, Youssou N’Dour with the 2015 Legendary Award.

The former Senegalese Presidential aspirant who was the country’s Minister of Tourism and Culture between 2012 and 2013 also won a Grammy in 2005 for the Best Contemporary World Music Album for his record, Egypt.
