The opening match of the 2015 African Cup of Nation has ended in the tournament’s first draw.
The match between host nation, Equatorial Guinea and Congo today, January 17, 2015 at the Estadio de Bata, Bata, saw both teams settling for a 1 – 1 stalemate.
The first goal came in the 16th minute of the first half as Emilo Nsue gave Equatorial Guinea the lead before Congo’s Thievy Bifouma scored in the 87th minutes to put his country back on level terms in the game.
