24 Year-old youth corps member Glory Chukwu was named MBGN 2009 on April 4.
The MBGN is the biggest beauty pagaent in Nigeria, and the longest surviving; even producing the first African Miss World (Agbani Darego) in 2001.
The lucky lady that gets crowned as the most beautiful girl in Nigeria becomes the country’s official representative at globally recognised beauty contests like Miss World, Miss Universe, Miss commonwealth and Miss Ecowas.

Munachi Abi still remains one of the freshest faces of the MBGN history. Still miss the days of Bianca, Omasun and Nike…..they had such larger-than-life images and were just sooo charismatic and arresting to look at.
