Kunle who hails from Ibadan in Oyo state had is primary education in Festac, Lagos which was concluded in Owo, Ondo state. For his secondary education, Kunle Afod attended Command Secondary school in Jos. Years later, he joined a theater group led by Ben Tomoloju who tutored him in acting. He later joined the Awada Kerikeri theater group led by Adebayo Salami better known as Oga Bello.
Kunle Afod has starred in and produced many movies in his thriving career as an entertainer. He is married to Dasola Afod and they are blessed with 3 boys.
