USA goalkeeper Tim Howard has set an amazing record at the World cup tournament in Brazil.
The USA vs Belgium match, played on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 in the knock-out stage of the tournament, displayed an impressive performance from the Everton goalkeeper who made 15 saves, setting a new World Cup record.
Howard broke the record of Peruvian goalkeeper Ramon Quiroga, who had the highest number of saves with 13 against Holland in 1978.
USA lost the match to Belgium 2 – 1, and are now out of the World cup.
