Les Éléphants of Ivory Coast team have won their first World Cup match.
The match, played on Sunday, June 15, 2014, in Sao Paulo, saw Keisuke Honda‘s sixteenth minute goal gave Japan the lead, before Wilfried Bony and Gervinho scored within two minutes of each other in the second half for a 2-1score against Japan.
The African country will also face Colombia and Greece in the group stage.
