In one of the most interesting matches so far in the on-going World Cup finals, the Black Stars of Ghana were held to a two all draw by their German counterparts in the group G match.
The highly tensed match saw the Black Stars concede first, in the 41st minute, with a goal from Germany’s Mario Goetze only to level the scoreline three minutes later with a towering header from Andre Ayew.
The Black Stars took the lead in the 63rd minute with a stunning strike from Asamoah Gyan but couldn’t keep the lead for long as Miroslav Klose in the 71st minute capitalized from Ghana’s failed attempt to clear the ball out, following a corner kick.
Germany currently have four points, Ghana, one point but are very much in the title race.
