Belgium player Marouane Fellaini says he’ll shave off his hair if his country wins the World Cup.
The Manchester United midfielder, who helped defeat Algeria in their first group stage match with a 2 – 1 victory, tipped his team to take home the trophy.
Speaking with Belgian outlet Sporza he said: ‘Belgium is capable of winning the World Cup. If that proves the case I promise that I will shave my hair
The midfielder also said he plans to give his best for his national team, despite a poor season with his club side.
‘My goal is to score for the team for my family and for the country. I had a difficult season but now I am at the World Cup and I am focused on the national team’
Belguim will face Russia on Sunday, June 22, 2014 for their second group stage match in a bid to advance to the round of sixteen.
