Colombia has successfully progressed to the quarterfinal round of the World cup tournament, beating South American counterparts Uruguay.
The match, played on Saturday, June 28, 2014 at Estadio do Maracanã, Rio de Janeiro saw Los Cafeteros win with a 2-0 victory.
AS Monaco player James Rodríguez stole the show as he found the net twice. Uruguay who was missing recently suspended Luis Suarez seemed to lack the instincts to score.
Colombia will face the host country Brazil in the Quarterfinal stage.
