Wizkid turns 23, trends on Twitter for ‘buying ATM in house’

The young pop singer turns 23 and has a lot to be thankful for; the last 12 months have been full of adventure, expensive acquisitions, awards, label breakups and resolution, car accidents and a lot more…

And while the birthday wishes have been pouring in from friends, fans and well wishers, Wizkid has been trending on Twitter for other reasons – this being the most hilarious we’ve seen so far..

For six hours straight, the phrase ‘Wizkid Buys Atm In His House’ was trending on the social network after a parody website Fake9jaNews published a story, jokingly reporting that Wizzy had ‘ordered his bank Zenith Bank to make him a customized atm with which he can withdraw close to a million naira at once‘.

It’s all jokes but Twitter erupted with fans voicing out different views. Check out some of the Tweets we read and couldn’t stop laughing…
