The Gambia will celebrate its 50th Independence anniversary on February 28, 2015 and once the official part of the day is over, there will be a massive music concert in the country.
And none other than Starboy boss, Wizkid is billed to headline the concert celebrating the Golden Jubilee at the Independence Stadium in Bakau.
Gambia, a West African country, gained independence from the United Kingdom in February 1965. With Banjul as capital, Gambia’s population is a little over 2 million as at April 2013.
Wizkid has gone on to confirm his performance in the country on Instagram saying with a picture of the event and the caption: ‘My Gambia people! I’m coming to celebrate with u guys!!! Date confirmed! See y’all soon! #StarBoy.’
