Viral popstar Ayo ‘Wizkid‘ Balogun has covered the first edition of Y! Magazine for 2013.
Right before the EME controversy, Wizzy had granted Y! an exclusive interview, discussing his his struggles, fame and the future.
There had already been rumours of his strained relationship with EME, and in this interview, he doused fears, stating ‘EME is my family‘.
Wizzy has since disassociated himself from the rising label, removing EME from his social network accounts and new videos, not performing at Banky W’s ‘The Grand Love‘ Concert and subliminally throwing jabs at the label.
However, the ‘Azonto’ singer says EME still remains close to him even though he has set up his very own label ‘Star Boi Music‘.
