On Sunday, April 5, 2015, Mavin Records act, Korede Bello was a guest minister at HICC (Harvesters International Christian Centre) in Lagos, where he performed his smash hit single, ‘Godwin.’
This development has generated mixed reactions from his fans. While some saw nothing wrong with him performing in church, others felt he crossed the line as a secular act, mounting the sacred pulpit.
To defend himself, Korede Bello took to Instagram to ask if he’s not allowed to give testimony in church anymore.

hmm that was a nice and cool track.
U r right jare,is it all d Pple dat comes up on d alter is born again, abeg all dat one na shit!we love u continue d good work
…should he continue his good work, u dance nd all end up in hell; pls lets be blunt in dis matter, he shouldn’t av been allowed to come on the altar, not a stage 4 God’s sake. In the old testament, altars are meant to be sacred not 4 people who are nt even ready 2 know God’s commandments coz we all sin bt we know what God wants nd then ask 4 forgiveness – we fear him – ‘coz sin is almost inevitable.
