As has become characteristic of the big-budget annual concert, fans are encouraged to vote for international acts they’d love to see headline the show, which holds in December.
‘Nominate your favourite international artiste for Star Megajam’, a newspaper advertisement, last weekend reads. ‘Get your most wanted international artiste to perform at the 2011 edition of Star Megajam and win a free ticket to see him/her live on stage…’
Star Megajam is organized by Nigerian Breweries PLC, makers of Star Lager.
Past Megajam headliners include Shaggy, Awilo, Usher, Akon, T-Pain, Busta Rhymes, Ludacris, and many other big names…
