This was the plight of a Nigerian man, Oscar, living in the UK when he found out that the man he’d brought up and called son for the last 32 years was not really his.
He got this shocking revelation on the Jeremy Kyle show after his ‘son’, Valentine took him there based on newly acquired information given to him by his mother that there were chances Oscar wasn’t really his dad.
Upon getting a DNA test done on both men, the show’s host, Jeremy found out that indeed, his guest had been raising another man’s child all this while.
Poor Oscar did not take the news lightly as he wailed in pain at the news.
Valentine himself wasn’t too pleased by the revelation either, as Oscar had been there for him all these years, bringing him from Nigeria to get a better life and education in the UK.
‘Being a dad isn’t about being blood-related. It takes a man to look after a kid,’ an equally sad Jeremy said in consolation.
