Waje cancels tour of East Africa following grandma’s death

My Tanzanian and Ugandan family. It breaks my heart to announce to you all that we will have to cancel the rest of the tour *sad face* My deepest apologies to u because this was all put in place because of you guys,But this isn’t over.We will do this. #WajeEATour As my grandma just passed away while my tour kicked off, I’m forced to cancel to be there for my mum. I am very sorry to cancel the Tanzanian and Ugandan shows.I hope you darlings bear with me and keep the love alive. I promise to schedule a better time to come be with you in Tanzania and Uganda. Nigerian singer Waje is beareaved. She lost her maternal grandmother a few days ago at the age of 90.

The loss has forced the singer to now cancel the rest of her Tour of Eastern Africa which she already kicked off in Kenya last week.

Waje told her fans today, that her decision to cancel the tour which will affect her fans in Tanzania and Uganda is for her to be able to be with her 64 year old mum during her time of grief.
