In the final shortlist, Nigeria is the most represented country with two candidates with Super Eagles goalkeeper, Vincent Enyeama and striker, Ahmed Musa remain in the race while Asamoah Gyan (Ghana), Pierre Emerick Aubameyang (Gabon) and Ivory Coast’s Yaya Toure are the others listed.
The winner of the award for the year will be announced at the Glo-CAF Awards scheduled to hold in Lagos on Thursday, January 8, 2015.
