Audience at The Forum in Inglewood, Los Angeles screamed applauded, while the internet went agog when Taylor Swift officially pronounced Scottish DJ and singer Calvin Harris as her ‘BOYFRIEND’, during her acceptance speech at the recently held iHeartRadio Music Awards.
Accepting the award for Best Tour, presented by Justin Timberlake, she gushed: ‘For the first time I had the most amazing person to come home to when the spotlight went out and when the crowds were all gone. So I want to thank my boyfriend Adam {DJ Calvin, whose real name is Adam Wiles} for that and I love you guys so much.’
The ‘Blank Space’ hitmaker was the biggest winner at the ceremony as she took home four awards including, Best Tour, Female Artist of the Year, Album of the Year for ‘1989’ and Most Meme-able Moment for the ‘Crazy Girl with Running Mascara’ from her ‘Blank Space’ music video.
Calvin was also awarded the prize for Dance Artist of the Year and she gave him a huge hug in front of the crowd.
Other winners included Justin Bieber with three awards, Drake and Twenty One Pilots, who were awarded two prizes each.
