A nurse has been fired for filming Brazilian footballer Neymar’s arrival at the hospital where he was rushed to after suffering a back injury during Brazil’s World Cup match against Colombia.
Foreleza Hospital staff Chintia was identified at the end of the video after she turned the camera on herself, saying ‘woo-hoo’ and posing.
Brazilian football site UOL reports reads: ‘In an interview with the newspaper, the hospital administrator, Marcia Real stated that the employee was away and would soon be fired. The Brazilian team doctor Jose Luiz Runco said at a news conference on Saturday that the records of Neymar were collected by CBF. The nurse had only first names revealed: Chintia.’,
The Barcelona FC forward has been ruled out of the remainder of the tournament.
