Gorgeous singer Tiwa Savage was a recent guest on web entertainment show Factory 78. The First lady of MAVIN Records got talking about her style of music and stage craft, amongst other things.
She also spoke on how some Nigerian musicians have altered their style to fit the European market. ‘Nigerian music has so much rhythm and so much soul, we just need to stay true to ourselves. I think sometimes when we cross over, we just change and blend to other cultures, but reggae music doesn’t do that and we still accept it.
The talented singer is currently working on releasing her long-awaited debut ‘Tiwa O ni Baje‘ later this year.
