Madonna has gone naked again, but this time it’s for a good cause.
The 54-year-old showed off her bare skin (and butt!) to a multitude of concert goers during her on-going MDNA Tour in honour of Malala Yousafzai, a 14-year-old Pakistani girl who was allegedly shot in the head by Taliban gunmen.
Performing her 1994 single ‘Human nature’, Madonna practically stripped on stage, taking off her jacket, inner fittings and lowering her trouser pants. The word ‘MALALA’ was inscribed on her bare back.
After performing, Madonna paused to reflect with the crowd, ‘The 14-year-old schoolgirl who wrote a blog about going to school. The Taliban stopped her bus and shot her. Do you realize how sick that is?’.
Yousafzai on October 9 2012, was shot in the head and neck in an assassination attempt reportedly by Taliban gunmen while returning home on a school bus. As at the time of this report, she remains unconscious and in critical condition. She is currently in the UK receiving treatment.
The Taliban have promised to kill Yousafzai if she survives the initial attack.
