Vector will be headlining at the Airtel/Trace Music Star grand finale today, Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the OceanView Restaurant, Victoria Island Lagos. The king Kong hitmaker will be performing alongside other prominent artistes in the industry like Falz, Joe el, Lara George and Ice Prince.
The Airtel/Trace and Music Star hunt, which a winner will emerge today for the prize of, N4m and a chance of a record deal with Universal Records, and also will represent Nigeria at the Pan-African Grande Finale, where he/she will get to compete against representatives from 13 other African countries in Kenya in March, 2015.
What’s more, the award-winning rapper recently revealed that collaborations on his new album would shock everyone.
In an interview with NET, when asked about artistes to expect on his upcoming album, he said: ‘The whole G-RAP movement, and there will definitely be new sounds with producers, sound engineers, and artistes. There will also be some major names, unbelievable names; people the fans probably thought I will never work with in the industry, because I intend to change a lot of stuffs on the album this year.’
