Sad news: Nwachukwu Ozioko better known as Vast, a member of Nigerian pop duo Bracket is battling Cancer.
Sources close to the dark skinned pretty boy told NET today that he got diagnosed with the deadly disease Lymphoma (cancer of the blood) back in February.
Vast, we are told has been receiving treatment at the Wellington Hospital, London.
A staff at the hospital informed us that Vast was indeed admitted in February. ‘He was discharged on February 28‘, a staff told us over the telephone.
His long time singing partner Smash is also in the UK, supporting him.
Reports say Vast has undergone 4 circles of chemotherapy with each circle costing about N1.4million.
The pair aren’t letting Vast’s health issues slow their music career down though, a few weeks ago, they hired Nigerian video director Clarence Peters to shoot a video for an upcoming single.
They will be heading to Nigeria pretty soon.
