Call it misplacement of priorities or anything else but news filtered in on Sunday, January 25, 2015 that the Federal Government of Nigeria is mooting the idea of blocking all porn sites in the country.
Although many young Nigerians wonder why he is not more concerned about security on which his office is based, reports say the idea was suggested by the National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki.
‘Government is planning to ban and block websites that inculcate negative attitudes in our children but we need a law to support such move. Because without a law, people can go to court and claim infringement on their rights,’ he said at the weekend in Kaduna.
Reacting to the viral report, fans of controversial nudity queen, Maheeda teased her that about the development and although immediately clearing the air that she’s not a ‘porn star,’ she still scoffed at the idea.
According to the young woman whose real name is Caroline Sam, she is only a ‘nudist’ but made it clear all the same that she won’t be overly concerned if porn sites are blocked in Nigeria since she doesn’t reside here for now.
