Describe them as separated and you won’t be wrong but there is surely some love still at work between beautiful actress, Mbong Amata and her handsome former hubby, Jeta Amata.
Jeta, who is doing well with new movie projects and other socially-relevant ones, has turned 40 and one of the special places where he got love shown to him represents his former wife’s corner.
Mbong, who separated from Jeta, a little over a year ago, posted the moving birthday message on her Instagram page, wishing her former husband ‘nothing short of God’s endless blessings.’
While talk about formal divorce proceedings has cooled down since the world became aware of their separation many months back, the two have maintained that they remain great friends.
The movie director, whose documentary on the Niger Delta part of the country, Dawn in the Creeks, is currently on TV stations across the country, married Mbong in 2008 and they have a daughter together.
Their pattern is completely different from that of Jeta’s elder brother, Fred and Agatha, his former wife. Both have refrained from showing up at the other’s events and have kept away from any public display of affection.
