Pione Sisto’s parents decided to celebrate their son in a special traditional way after the Uganda-born footballer was called up to Denmark’s under 21 side.
Sisto who plays for FC Midtjylland in Denmark was afforded the traditional celebration pattern from by his parents as they were both covered in white powder and danced and sang the country’s traditional songs in front of the Danish media.
Happening during the press conference called to announce the young footballer’s call-up to Denmark’s side, the journalists watched on in surprise and awe.
Sisto who left Uganda for Denmark at a tender age, couldn’t help it but joined his parent in the celebration as they later pose for a photo snaps.
Pione Sisto is the Danish Superliga Player of the Year for 2014 having scored 7 goals in 17 league games for his Danish team, FC Midtjylland.
