Nollywood actress and GLO ambassador, Uche Jombo is warming up for the premiere of her first movie, ‘Damage‘, scheduled to premiere at the Silverbird Cinemas, Lagos, on Sunday, July 31, 2011 courtesy her film production out, UJ Studios.
An advocate for social issues, Jombo ensures each of the three stories addresses important problems affecting individuals, families and society generally. ‘Damaged’, sees her act alongside movie star Kalu Ikeagwu as a married couple in an abusive relationship as it highlights the psychological effect it could have especially on the children.
The movie after showing in Nigerian theatres also plans to run in the United Kingdom from September 26 to 29, 2011. The United States of America, according to actress, would also benefit from the theatres’ tour.
