British Reggae band, UB40, which co-headlined the Classic FM concert alongside Brandy, did not get a great response to their performance from the audience at the event.
Being the last major act to take the stage didn’t help matters, as many attendees left the venue after Brandy’s charged performance, and after Paul Play Dairo and 9ice concluded their sets.
The experienced quartet, who are veterans of their craft, delivered a Grammy-worthy performance, yet all they got were half-hearted cheers and a response that fluctuated between cold and warm.
Despite their impressive delivery, the band just couldn’t get the crowd to replicate the fervour and excitement they had previously shown the other musicians who mounted the stage.
The Classic FM Valentine concert held on Sunday, February 16, 2014, at the Eko Hotel and Suites.

Ofcourse “ub40” didn’t get good reviews, this wasn’t ub40 but 3 former members (Ali, Astro, Mickey) who claimed to be ub40. The real ub40 still exists and play sold out concerts! To call yourself ub40 when you’re not, is very discusting.
