In recent times, members of the People’s Democratic Party have defied court orders in their various cases on financial crimes by laying credence to ill health.
Most recently, two leaders of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Mr Femi Fani- Kayode and Olisa Metuh, who were arraigned in court for corruption appealed that they were unfit to continue the court case due to one ailment on the other. But concerns are being raised as to whether they are really sick or trying to avoid jail time.
