On August 9, 2012, four persons including a motorcyclist, a child beggar and a hawker were crushed by a trailer along the Enugu-Onitsha expressway.
The incident occurred around 4:00pm, when a trailer conveying some goods to Onitsha developed a failed break and ramped into its victims killing them at the spot.
The trailer also destroyed about 21 vehicles.
