Seasoned DJ and traditional radio presenter, Saba ka Mbixane is presently battling for his life following a motorcycle accident which happened on Monday, February 9, 2015 in Mount Frere, Eastern Cape.
According to Sowetan reports, the 55-year old also known as DJ Ntozabantwana, was traveling on his bike when he allegedly lost control and was rushed to the Nelson Mandela Academic Hospital in a critical condition.
So serious is the condition of Saba ka Mbixane, who started his career on Radio Transkei in the early 1980s, that doctors have restricted people from coming to see him due to his condition.
He has been presenting an African traditional music show for 29 years and has six South African Traditional Music Awards (SATMAS) to his name.
