Toni Payne, the estranged wife of popular Nigerian singer 9ice has launched a new reality TV series which is set to debut on Monday, April 2, 2012.
Titled ‘My ChamPayne Life’ Ms Payne’s show will mirror the life of an illustrious woman who has worked so hard to build a career.
When asked about the reality show she said, ‘As a public Relations Executive, socialist, Human Rights Activist, Role Model, on line Radio owner and above all a mother. My life is pretty complicated to meet the everyday challenge. Building a brand that is in demand is never easy; a broken down load of work to get to the peak of the business. Now I am a force to reckon with’.
Toni who has once managed artistes like rapper Olamide and pop singer Zara and still plies the trade with upcoming singer Adol and newbie Dencia is also involved in other projects such as her online radio and entertainment consultancy.
From her words, the show is likely to feature her son Zion ‘Above all as a mother…’
Pundits say ‘My Champayne Life’ could be similar to Kimora Lee Simmons’ ‘Life in the Fab Lane‘. Kimora Lee just like Toni Payne was involved in a famed separation with ex-hubby Russell Simmons, the owner of popular record label Def Jam.
Producers say ‘My ChamPayne Life’ will air on television stations across the country and ‘is coming soon to MNET, UK and USA’.
