Endless speculations have surrounded estranged partners 9ice and Toni Payne. We’ve been besieged by rumours of a reunion, trysts, and all. And early this month, the whole story took a different turn with unconfirmed reports saying Toni Payne was pregnant with a second child for the Alapomeji boss. The couple already have a son Zion from their 2008 marriage before splitting up two years later.
But on Monday, February 13, 2012, 9ice finally cleared the air, publicly denying what had got tongues wagging. ‘Gd aftnun. I shake my head in disbelief. Am sure my true fans won’t believe such news. 9ice is obviously fed up with the rumours and even though he didn’t call any names out, we’re told the tweet was directed at his ex-wife and those spreading the pregnancy rumours. We’ve reported several times that Toni Payne isn’t over the award winning singer and has made several attempts to reach out to him via E-mails and through mutual friends. She met with him several times last year, proposing a reconciliation. The talks eventually broke down. Ms Payne is constantly on Twitter promoting and supporting her ex-husband’s new albums ‘Bashorun Gaa‘ and ‘Versus‘ and the upcoming March 11 album concert.
But with the Abuja-based Vicky Godis already rearing a set of twins for 9ice, and the musician keen on concentrating on revamping his career and business, it looks a reunion with his ex-wife isn’t much of a priority right now…
Payne herself is getting busy with her online radio as well as promoting new signing Dencia. She recently parted ways with rapper oLamide and singer Zara who were signed under her management outfit Toni Payne Concepts. She didn’t pick our calls or return our text messages asking for comments on this story.

d question is, is tony payne really pregnant? if yes then, judging frm 9ice’s stance, he’s probably not the owner of d pregnancy or it may be dat dey had a one nyt stand during one of tony’s reconciliation trips to his house whc eventually got her pregnant…well, unless on d basis of infidelity whc is d story making d rounds, 9ice hasn’t d right to put away his wife n kid just like dat…afteral, dey aint even divorced yet so she’s still his wife n he doesnt hv d right to go messing around with other ladies…who is he anyway and wat is he feeling like? why is he refusing reconciliation if not that he’s bent on leaving a wayward life! mwwwwwch, oshisco!
