Fast rising singer Tiwa Savage was recently scared to her pants as a fan fought his way to take a picture with her at the Octopus Lounge, Yaba, Lagos, on Friday, September 30, 2011.
Tiwa, a headliner for this year’s Hennessy Artistry alongside Banky W and eLDee da Don was partying at the Hennessey VIP Night and had just finished rendering her two singles ‘Kele Kele’ and ‘Love me love me love me’ when a dark, young looking man barged towards Tiwa and demanded to take a photograph with her.
He obviously found it hard getting close to her as the security officials pulled him back, but determined to get a picture with the celeb, he raised his voice so loud that Banky and eLDee had to intervene. The fan finally got his moment when Tiwa decided to strike a pose with him.
The bodyguard immediately led Tiwa Savage outside the club and performances continued. A distraught Tiwa Savage who was rocking a pair of green hot pants and white lacy sleeves top stood outside with the bodyguard not minding the drizzling rain.
It had to take the eccentric Denrenle Edun who upon seeing Tiwa cheered her up as he hugged and kissed her on the cheeks. She then made her way back in the VIP section of the club.
