Popular YouTube Star, Nicole Thea, recently passed away on Saturday, July 11th, 2020.

Her family confirmed her death and that of her unborn son via her Instagram account. There are no official reports about the cause of hers and her unborn son’s death, whom she and her boyfriend, Jeffery Frimpong aka Global Boga, planned to name ‘Reign’.
Her death was all the more shocking because she was such an energetic and bubbly person, and had even shared a photo of herself on Instagram the day before she died.
Nicole Thea, also known as QR2, used to create dance videos on Instagram for her 189,000 followers as well as weave tutorials on YouTube for her 93,500 subscribers.
She was loved and admired by fellow dancers, artistes and by her social media community. Some of whom have taken to social media to express their sadness about her tragic death.
Popular Nigerian actress and DJ, Dorcas Shola Fapson, popularly known as Ms DSF expressed her sadness via Instastories, saying: ‘If there was one person’s energy I loved seeing on the gram, it was yours. RIP Queen. This hurts my heart so much. “D, I love your pop Smoke braids”, Yup! Nicole Inspired them. Praying so hard for Boga man. God comfort your entire family, sis. This year has been heavy.’
Nigerian superstar, Tiwa Savage also shared her disbelief at Nicole’s death. She said, ‘This is so hard to believe! Rest in perfect peace, Nicole’. Nicole had been one of her backup dancers at a few shows.
The creative director of Nicole’s agency, Zinarts Agency, asked for people to join them in prayer. She wrote on Instagram, ‘I will be standing firm on my faith in God to heal wounds of the heart….. Join us tonight at 7 PM as we pray for our sister, brother (Nicole’s boyfriend and father of her unborn son) and industry. #RipNicoleThea’
Popular Ghanian producer, Juls also shared several posts via Insta story sending his condolences to Nicole’s partner, Global Boga. He said, ‘Here for you Global Boga’.
Ghanian singer, Eugy Official also showed his support for Global Boga saying, ‘We dey for you brother!’
Dancer, Milo Kilziee shared this as well, ‘Stay strong my brother Boga. Rest easy my sis, young queen. We love you’.
Nicole Thea’s early death is an unfortunate blow to the entertainment industry. She will be greatly missed.
