Tinsel star Tomi Odunsi debuts with 'Back to Music' concert

Popular actress on MNET TV series ‘Tinsel‘, Tomi Odunsi, is officially stepping into the music scene with her own solo gig.

Titled ‘From Tomi With Love: Back to Music’, the concert is scheduled to take place today Thursday, May 24, 2012, at Shauntz Lounge, Sanusi Fafunwa, V.I, Lagos at 7pm.

The actress says she ‘found passion in music at a tender age’ and has decided to go back to her first love- music. She described her music as ‘a blend of soulful jazz mixed with a dose of funk and upbeat sounds that meet together to form a beautiful and original melody.’

‘From Tomi With Love’ was, according to Odunsi, is born out of the desire to help young people aspire to global relevance through their gifts, and is the first of many other projects to come.’

The  invite only event will feature acts such as Ruby, Max, Yemi Alade (first Peak Talent Hunt winner), Aramide, Isibiama, Christine Ben- Amen and Sammy.
